Corvette C1

One of the most beautiful classics ever. The photo was taken by Cristóvão Peças in Ericeira´s skate park.

The Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car created by Chevrolet in 1953. It is manufactured today by a unique plant in Bowling Green General Motors. It was the first all-American sports car built by an American company. The National Corvette Museum is a museum dedicated to the car , also located in Bowling Green , Kentucky .

There are six generations of Corvettes. Generations may be referred to the version C1 through C6, but the first generation is more commonly referred to as solid- axle ( drive shaft ) , because the Independent Rear Suspension ( STI ) not be available until 1963 . The first generation began in 1953 and ended in 1963.

The assembly was mounted in a body of fiber reinforced plastic pressed -glass, which resulted in a light car. Were it not for the new material, the first time used in automobile production and had the trade name of Fiberglass , the Corvette would be impossible as a matter of volume production .

Nissan GT-R R35

Many will be in doubt if this is a R35 or R34. However, this car is a Nissan R35 and was photographed in front of the Continent of Cascais. Gorgeous!
